I'm able to give you the one-to-one time you deserve.

It's important that the massage is given in peaceful, comfortable surroundings. To this purpose, I have a downstairs treatment room, set up to instil peace and tranquillity. I aim to make your whole experience a soothing, relaxing and nurturing treatment that balances and re-vitalizes your body, mind and spirit.

Initially we will sit down and I will take a consultation covering your medical history, lifestyle, emotional state, any discomforts and your requirements. We will then plan the treatment together to suit your needs, deciding upon appropriate massage and oil blend. (For more information, please see FAQ.)

I have a wide selection of music available to suit your mood, inducing calm and relaxation to the atmosphere. Choose from a selection of natural sounds, melodious piano, keyboards, flute, chant and mantras. Some of this music is so meditative that as soon as you begin to listen you will feel yourself sinking into the couch and life's cares slipping away.

However, music is not a required state; some people prefer the stillness - whatever is right for you.

I also have a cabinet full of beautiful crystals, and you may hold one of these during treatment if you wish. Each different crystal has certain healing properties that can tie in with your needs and enhance the experience for you.

The whole point of a holistic treatment is treating each person and each visit as individual; our needs vary according to how we feel, so it is important to take this into account for each treatment.

It is necessary to undress as appropriate e.g. to remove top clothing for a back massage. Warm towels will cover you on the couch and the only part of body uncovered is the part being worked on. At all times your modesty is respected.

I will gently establish a connection with you by breathing in rhythm with you for a few moments before beginning strokes. The more relaxed and comfortable you can be, the more you will get out of each treatment.
